Broad-leaved Cottongrass

Broad-leaved Cottongrass is a rhizomatous perennial herb of open sites, growing in wet, base-rich lowland meadows and mires, and in fens and calcareous flushes in the uplands (M. J. Y. Foley & M. S. Porter in Preston et al, 2002)

In Norfolk, Broad-leaved Cottongrass occurs at a few calcareous fen sites and it is usually only present very small quantities.
