Creeping Forget-me-not is a stoloniferous annual to perennial herb found by streams and pools, in marshy pasture, moorland flushes and springs. It prefers acid peaty soils, and usually avoids calcareous soils (D. Welch in Preston et al, 2002).

It was first recorded in Norfolk in 1981 by CRS at Holt Lowes and refound there in 1997 by ALB and it has been seen a few times since. A second nearby location was found in Heath House Woods in 2003 by CRS & RWE. There are two further records on the database that were accepted by GB.
